Labiaplasty: What to Expect — Procedure, Recovery & Results (2026)

· 1 min read

Labiaplasty reshapes or reduces the labia minora. Many women consider it for genuine comfort reasons — irritation or discomfort during exercise, intercourse or when wearing certain clothing — rather than appearance alone.

Is it right for you?

Our principle is medicine first, aesthetics second. A good consultation begins not with appearance but with what you feel and whether an intervention is truly necessary. If it is not, we will tell you.

The procedure

Labiaplasty is performed under local or general anaesthesia and usually takes 45–90 minutes. Techniques (trim or wedge) are chosen to preserve a natural border, with dissolvable sutures and minimal scarring. Surgery is carried out at our JCI-accredited partner hospital, Acıbadem.

Recovery

Most patients return to light activity within a few days; full recovery, including exercise and intercourse, is typically within 4–6 weeks. You receive clear, individual aftercare instructions.

Privacy

Consultations are fully private and unhurried, with the reassurance of a female physician. See the full genital aesthetics guide and transparent prices.
