Important Information
- A 2–5 day period of sexual abstinence before the test is recommended for accurate results.
- Parameters assessed include volume, concentration, total sperm count, motility, morphology, and pH (per WHO criteria).
- A single test may not reflect true fertility status — repeat testing after 2–3 months is often advised.
- Avoid testing during or shortly after febrile illness, antibiotic therapy, or significant stress.
