This is a broad evaluation of sexually transmitted infections and of the genital infections that often accompany them. It is physician-led, fully confidential (KVKK), and any curable infection found is treated during the same visit. The panel is run from two separate samples: a genital swab and a blood draw.
A — MULTIPLEX PCR / NAAT FROM THE GENITAL SAMPLE
Chlamydia trachomatis · Neisseria gonorrhoeae · Trichomonas vaginalis · Mycoplasma genitalium · Mycoplasma hominis · Ureaplasma urealyticum · Ureaplasma parvum · HSV-1 · HSV-2 · Treponema pallidum (according to kit and clinical indication) · Haemophilus ducreyi (particularly in the differential diagnosis of genital ulcer) · High-risk HPV genotyping as a separate test (HPV 16/18 and other high-risk types).
B — SEROLOGICAL SCREENING FROM BLOOD
HIV 1/2 Ag/Ab (4th generation) · HBsAg · Anti-HBs · Anti-HBc total · Anti-HCV · Syphilis: treponemal test plus RPR/VDRL algorithm.
Hepatitis B is run as a three-test panel (HBsAg + anti-HBs + total anti-HBc): this shows not only infection but also your immunity status, which is what tells us whether vaccination is needed.
C — EXTENSION IF THERE IS DISCHARGE, VAGINITIS OR CERVICITIS
Bacterial vaginosis assessment (Gardnerella vaginalis–associated BV panel) · Candida albicans · Candida glabrata and other non-albicans Candida species.
These are not classical sexually transmitted diseases; they are added to complete the diagnosis in a patient who has symptoms.
HOW RESULTS ARE INTERPRETED — WE SAY THIS UP FRONT
· Mycoplasma hominis, Ureaplasma urealyticum and Ureaplasma parvum can technically be detected in a broad panel; however, a positive result is NOT in itself evidence of disease or a reason for antibiotics. These bacteria can be part of the normal genital flora of healthy people. The treatment decision is made by the physician together with your symptoms and examination findings.
· HSV PCR is meaningful mainly in a sample taken from an active genital lesion; it is not used as a screening test in someone without symptoms. The CDC likewise does not recommend routine asymptomatic HSV-2 screening.
· Curable infections (chlamydia, gonorrhoea, trichomonas, syphilis) are treated during the same visit; partner-notification guidance and a re-test plan with window-period advice are provided.
· Our principle: running a broad panel and treating every positive result are not the same thing. We avoid unnecessary antibiotics and treat according to guidelines, only as much as is needed.
WHICH PANEL IS RIGHT FOR YOU — THE PHYSICIAN DECIDES
Our clinic has two panels: Panel 1 (this comprehensive panel) and Panel 2 (Preconception / IVF Infection Screening Panel). Which one is appropriate for you is decided and recommended by the PHYSICIAN after your symptoms, history and plans (such as preparing for pregnancy or IVF) have been assessed. This is not a menu to choose from; your physician determines the correct panel.

HOW THE VISIT WORKS — STEP BY STEP
1. Our transfer team contacts you and takes your location details.
2. You are collected from where you are staying in our VIP Mercedes and brought to the clinic.
3. Your doctor examines you and performs an ultrasound.
4. Based on the examination findings and your history, your doctor RECOMMENDS and determines the panel that is right for you.
5. The necessary blood and/or swab samples are taken at the clinic.
6. You are driven back to where you were collected from, again by our VIP Mercedes transfer.
The pick-up time is set by our clinic team and sent to you before your appointment, together with the driver and vehicle details.
