Genital aesthetics — also called aesthetic or cosmetic gynaecology — covers a group of surgical and non-surgical procedures that address the comfort, function and appearance of the genital area. At our clinic the guiding principle is simple and unchanging: medicine first, aesthetics second. Any intervention should rest on a genuine medical or functional need and the patient’s own wishes — never on outside pressure. This guide explains, respectfully and clearly, what these procedures are, who they may help, and how we approach them.
Medicine first: when is it actually indicated?
Many women consider these procedures for functional reasons rather than appearance — discomfort during exercise, intercourse or with certain clothing; irritation; or changes after childbirth or with age. Others seek them for personal confidence, which is equally valid. A good consultation begins not with appearance but with what you feel — physically and emotionally — and whether an intervention is truly necessary. If it is not, we will tell you honestly.

- Vulvar hyaluronic acid filler
- Botox for vaginismus — a treatment for painful muscle spasm, not cosmetic

- Vaginoplasty (vaginal tightening) and perineoplasty
- Clitoral hood reduction

Choosing the right procedure
The best option depends on your symptoms, anatomy and goals. Sometimes a non-surgical treatment is enough; sometimes surgery is the more appropriate answer; and sometimes the honest advice is that no intervention is needed. We never combine procedures simply to expand a treatment — only when it genuinely serves you and is safe to do together.

Care is delivered by Dr. Meryem Uçarer, an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and certified genital aesthetics specialist. Consultations are fully private and unhurried, in a boutique setting. Every plan is built on informed consent and respect for natural anatomy. Recovery and aftercare
Recovery depends on the procedure. Non-surgical treatments usually allow a quick return to daily life. After surgery, most patients resume light activities within a few days and full activity — including exercise and intercourse — over several weeks. You receive clear, individual aftercare instructions and direct access to the clinic if you have questions.

Costs
Prices are transparent and listed clearly in the genital aesthetics section of our price list. Surgical prices include consultation, anaesthesia, pre-operative tests and the procedure; your exact, all-inclusive price is confirmed after your consultation.
Frequently asked questions
Is genital aesthetic surgery only cosmetic? No — many procedures address real functional or medical concerns, and some are reconstructive. The right approach is decided with you, individually.
Will my privacy be protected? Yes. Care is discreet and confidential, with the option of a female physician and a private, unhurried setting.
Local or general anaesthesia? Both are available depending on the procedure and your preference; your physician advises what is safest and most comfortable for you.
